Knives by Marc Bjoern Calsson:

The knives in the picture has a blade in alloyed tool-steel, that has been ground to shape (the so-called stock-removal method) and then hardened in a tempering plant. The handles on these knives are made from aluminum, anodized in yellow and blue colours.

In spite of what most people would expect, these knives feel very good in the hand, so both lines, total-impression and utility-value has been considered when these knives where designed.

About Marc Bjoern Carlsson:

Among the Danish knife makers you’ll also find people, who dare to think radically different than most others, when it comes to design and choice of materials for a knife. Marc Bjoern Carlsson works as a goldsmith in Copenhagen, but in his spare time he produces knives with a very different appearance.

Another characteristic of Marc Bjoern Carlsson’s knives is an unusually high finish. The finish of the surface and the very exact fitting of the different parts is perfect in every detail, and these things documents very high craftsmanship skills of the knife maker. You really can tell this is the work of a goldsmith.
