19 identical blades, hand forged by blade smith Thomas Noergaard.
19 different knife maker, each having his own approach.
19 very different knives.
The blades are forged to be as close to the historic original shown at the top. More data about this will be put on this page when available.
This is a very exiting way to display the possibilities in a blade. Many knife makers draw several knives before they decide which one to make. Here you see all the knives completed.
I have talked to Thomas Noergaard and asked him about his opinion of the results. Thomas says: " there are several good knives, but some have completely missed the point. But in between some have made a very fine job."
We leave that quote, and let you, the visitors, judge the results.
If anyone have a list of the knife makers who participated, I would like to put the knife makers name next to the knife on this page.
Enjoy the many very different knives and be inspired.
